Hi, I'm Taylor.

I’m a Southwest Washington based lifestyle portrait photographer and videographer shooting with over ten years of experience. Capturing life through photography is my greatest passion next to being a complete homebody and petting dogs. I currently photograph for the Marketing and Communications department at Washington State University Vancouver, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude after studying videography, design, and digital media. I was photo editor and layout designer on the 2015 edition of the award winning Clark College Phoenix art journal, and my photography has been featured in Vancouver Family Magazine, Offbeat Bride, NW Crimson and Grey, Dividend, and Substream Magazine. There’s nothing I love more than telling stories through my photographs, except maybe my Husband Bill and our dogs Bartleby and Corduroy.

Okay, I admit, reading about my qualifications bored me, too. In real life, I promise I’m going to be more awkward behind the lens than you ever could be in front of it. I talk too much, too fast, and too loud. Yet, somehow I still know when to let silence just be? I absolutely love traveling, but hate being in cars and airplanes? Yeah, I don’t get me, either. All I know is that I want to chase sunsets, beautiful views, and every dog until they let me pet them. I’d also love it if I could get paid to get tattoos and binge watch Outlander, Peaky Blinders, Grey’s Anatomy, and the entire Harry Potter series over and over again. I have the Slytherin crest tattooed on my thigh, but you will absolutely kick my ass at any HP trivia because I have a terrible memory for anything not photography related. I’m not only obsessed with taking photos, but also with looking at old photos. It’s like time travel! Which is why at every vintage shop you’ll find me unable to walk away from the piles of old prints.
